OK, so today’s the day. It’s your choice. You can stay at home and watch TV if you want to, just be absolutely clear that you’re not going to lose weight sitting on the sofa. So what do you REALLY want, and what are you prepared to do to get it. Take responsibility; get out there and move.

It is sometimes very hard to start to do something different, like getting off the sofa. I have come to realize that it is not only the ‘lucky’ people that ‘get’ to lose weight. I have noticed that it is the people who put their time and money and energy into the goal of a healthy lifestyle.
We have a lot of power to change things for ourselves, I figure!
I agree Kit, it is the people who make a real commitment to themselves who succeed, and, yes, often that involves an investment of time, money and energy. The first step is making the commitment.
