Lying quietly in the Aegean between Naxos and Amorgos, Iraklia offers total relaxation in tranquil surroundings. It is one of the Small Cyclades group, recently featured in Conde Nast Traveller (July 2005).
The island's inhabitants number just a few hundred and there are still fewer visitors; in fact there are only enough rooms for 70 guests. To this day, the islanders prefer to practice agriculture and fishing, observing a traditional way of life little changed in many years. For those making the journey, Iraklia is a real gem.
Pam first visited the island 10 years ago and immediately recognised Iraklia's potential as a Retreat. She has visited the island every year since and has witnessed little change in that time. Having experienced the island's unique healing atmosphere first hand, she believes it is the ideal location for those wanting to escape the stresses and strains of their everyday lives, making it the perfect setting for the Workshops.
